Uhlhorn Street Sewer Rehabilitation

This project includes the repair, replacement, and rehabilitation of approximately 465 feet of 24" sanitary sewer, 735 feet of various sized storm sewer pipe and installation of new structures southwest of the intersection of Uhlhorn Street and First Avenue.

Project Update

  • Recent Progress (May 31 to June 6)

    • Bowen continued installing new 24” C900 PVC gravity sewer pipe between sanitary sewer manholes STR. 101 and STR. 100.

    • Bowen completed the installation of sanitary sewer manhole STR. 101.

    • 3D Leasing located existing utilities by hydro excavation between STR. 101 and STR. 100.

    • 3D Leasing exposed the existing railroad tracks near STR. 100.

  • Anticipated Activities for Upcoming Week (June 7 to June 13) 

    • Bowen intends to remove the abandoned railroad tracks between STR. 100 and STR. 101.

    • Bowen intends continue installing new 24” C900 PVC gravity sewer pipe between sanitary sewer manholes STR. 101 and STR. 100.

    • Bowen intends to complete the installation of new 18” RCP storm sewer between storm sewer manhole STR. 203 and STR. 202.

    • Bowen intends to complete the installation of new storm sewer manhole STR. 202.

    • Bowen intends to begin installing new 18” RCP storm sewer between manholes STR. 202 and STR. 201.
